HOUSE OF QUIN
Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This policy explains storage used by the House of Quin website and the choices available to visitors.
1. Essential Storage
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| hoq_booking | A first-party cookie that permits access to the introductory booking step after an enquiry is sent. It contains a reference and access token, not the form answers. | Up to 24 hours |
| hoq_cookie_preferences_v1 | Browser local storage recording the visitor’s choice about the optional calendar. It is not used for advertising. | 180 days; expired choices are disregarded on the next visit |
The private preview also uses the hosting platform’s sign-in controls. These are separate from HOQ’s booking and preference storage.
2. Optional Booking Calendar
The embedded Calendly calendar is disabled by default. Allowing it and opening appointment times connects your browser to Calendly, which may process technical information and use cookies under its privacy notice. Declining the embed does not prevent an enquiry or booking through an external Calendly link. Calendly’s own choices apply on its website.
3. Advertising and Analytics
No advertising or analytics tools have been added by HOQ. Any future optional tracking will require an updated notice and appropriate choices before activation.
4. Changing Your Choice
You may change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Disabling the calendar removes the embedded calendar from the page; it does not automatically erase cookies already set by Calendly. These can be managed through your browser or Calendly’s controls. Clearing browser storage resets the saved HOQ choice.
