My background in whole-food, plant-based nutrition and my interest in how everyday environments affect wellbeing shape how I look at a home. How we feel in a space, what we eat, use on our bodies and bring into the home we share with animals and plants all deserve consideration.
I look at ingredients, materials, provenance, practical use and what remains after a product has been used. Depending on the selection, that may mean plant-based formulations, refillable packaging, seasonal produce from local growers, certified organic food or furnishings chosen to last. Each choice needs to suit the household, its preferences and the people and animals living there.
